Arthur is almost 5 years old. Until the age of 2, the boy developed as expected, repeated, said individual words, contacted his family and other children. Then the parents noticed that the son stopped responding to the name, withdrew into himself, stopped talking, repeating, interacting with others. A diagnosis was made – delayed psychorechological development with autistic manifestations.
The behavioral analyst was working on an alternative communication system using PECS cards and expanding requests. Since the boy has a visual perception and speech comprehension disorder, most of the work was aimed at their development (comparing identical and non-identical cards, distinguishing motivational items, following instructions).
After taking classes in adaptive physical culture, Arthur has improved self-control, coordination and balance, he easily stands on a balance beam. The boy learned to do somersaults. There was an understanding and awareness, understands the coach's commands. Arthur began to follow multitasking instructions. Improved visual perception, learned new exercises: somersaults, throwing balls, jumping with obstacles, as well as tasks with blazepods.
