Thanks to your support, Mitya has learned new skills!

We thank you for the funds raised for the rehabilitation of Ramadan! Unfortunately, due to family circumstances, the boy was unable to attend a rehabilitation course in Astrakhan. Your help was sent to Mitya, who has autism. He is 8 years old and does not talk or interact with other children. After completing an intensive rehabilitation course, Mitya has significantly improved his cognitive and physical skills, as well as learned new ones! The behavioral analyst worked with the boy to expand requests through alternative PECS communication. The specialist worked on developing the listener's behavior, now Mitya can clearly distinguish between stimuli and instructions by ear, without using a visual cue. In addition, Mitya improved and expanded his self-service skills - he learned to take off and put on shoes, socks, shorts and a cap on his own. In adaptive physical education classes, Mitya learned new exercises using a hoop, a gyro scooter, a ball, a blazerpod, and also became more confident in roller skating, improved his cycling skills. The boy's sense of himself in space improved, he began to adapt more quickly to the environment, there was less undesirable behavior due to fear of unfamiliar places, objects and people. Mitya's hand-eye coordination has also improved significantly.
