The Research Institute of Cardiac Surgery and Organ Transplantation in Bishkek does not have pediatric oxygenators for urgent heart surgery. These oxygenators are provided free of charge by the state, but due to logistical problems they are delayed. These oxygenators are made in Europe and if before the standard delivery time was 90 days, now it takes almost half a year.
