Mitya has completed a rehabilitation course and learned new skills!

Mitya is 7 years old. Doctors diagnosed the boy with childhood autism. During intensive classes, Mitya's understanding of speech improved, the boy began to correctly indicate with an index gesture when choosing a stimulus from 6 non-motivational items on the table. The difference of actions in the pictures increased, I began to understand the instructions in space. The boy has mastered the important skill of "waiting", thanks to this, undesirable behavior has decreased, and the skill of visual perception has also improved. After classes in adaptive physical culture, the boy's communication skills, understanding and fulfillment of tasks improved. Mitya has mastered a bicycle, a gyro scooter, a scooter and roller skates. In classes with a speech therapist, Mitya developed speech breathing, he began to differentiate between inhaling through his nose and exhaling through his mouth, as well as pronouncing the sounds "p" and "b" separately. The skills of chewing and imitation of articulation apparatus have improved. A specialist in sensory integration is working on the differentiation of nasal and oral breathing, bilateral integration (coordinated work of the right and left sides of the body to perform various tasks). During rehabilitation, work continued on increasing joint and muscle sensitivity.
