To prevent Muhammad from losing his vision, an urgent operation must be performed - to inject the baby with a special medicine that will prevent the retina from detaching and keep him able to see. It only helps if the injection is given within the next 72 hours. Muhammad's parents are Uzbek citizens, so the only way to operate on his eyes in Russia is for a fee. Now Muhammad's family does not have that kind of money and they are forced to ask for help.
