Vlada Kotkova is 13 years old, the girl has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy almost since birth.
Courses of treatment, surgery and rehabilitation have become habitual in the life of Vlada and her mother.
Unfortunately, in 2020, Vlada broke her leg while practicing adaptive skiing. A complex fracture with displacement, the girl spent three months in a cast and it took two years of rehabilitation to get her back on her feet. But Vladya had an incredible fear of letting go of the support, the fear of unbending his legs to the end, the fear of standing against the wall, the fear does not allow his legs to relax, stand and, moreover, walk.
After the next operation, the main recommendation of doctors is to continue complex treatment, classes on an elliptical simulator. On it, Vlada will be able to develop a knee joint, correctly transfer body weight from foot to foot, and physiologically put the foot when walking, avoid valgus. The simulator will allow you to increase the load evenly and gradually, which is extremely important for proper recovery and will help Vlada overcome her fears faster.
Mom is already physically unable to cope: Vlada has grown up and has become very heavy. And it would be nice to restore Vlad's independent walking skill faster.
