Thanks to your support 170 orphans in Eastern- Siberia got medical help!

The medical team of the charity foundation "Doroga zhizni" has been helping disabled orphans for almost 7 years in the most remote regions of the country. So the orphans have the chance to get the full medical examination and those those, who urgently need treatment and rehabilitation, we bring to Moscow. Since 2017, our doctors have already exanimated more than 5,700 orphans in more than 40 regions in Russia. In April, our fly-in medical team will travel to the Petrovsk-Zabaykalsky orphanage in Siberia for the fifth time. 166 disabled kids aged 4-18 years, among them 19 children who need palliative care, have already expecting them. It’s important to mention that no palliative care team has been in this orphanage never before because of the distance – the orphanage is located 500 km from Chita, the main city of the region. During this fly-in misson to Siberia we are planning to bring together with main medical specialists 2 palliative care specialists - an Intensivist and a neurologist from the Moscow palliative care center. Thanks to your support, we will be able to organize the fly-in-mission of palliative care specialists to this remote orphanage and to help many kids to get the right medical prescriptions and the therapy!
