Abdullah is about to turn three. He has Down's syndrome and mental and speech impairment. Abdullah was born much prematurely. Immediately after birth he was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect. He spent his first weeks of life in the intensive care unit. At four months of age and then at two years, the baby had two operations to correct CHD. At this point, the baby does not sit, walk or talk. Speech comprehension is at a mundane level. Three months ago Abdullah had his first rehabilitation course, after which there was a positive dynamic. He is able to crawl and is trying to get on all fours. Abdullah needs to take regular rehabilitation courses to develop his skills and develop new ones. The boy's parents don't have the financial possibilities to pay the expenses at the moment.
