Matvey is a perky and bright boy. At five years old, he knows the alphabet and can count. The only thing that distinguishes him is infantile cerebral palsy. Unfortunately, cerebral palsy is incurable, but the elimination of symptoms greatly improves his overall health. Matvey has spastic diplegia caused by cerebral palsy. This means that his legs and arms do not obey him. They can move arbitrarily and take unnatural positions. Neurosurgery can help reduce muscle tone.
