Sabina was born much prematurely. Doctors diagnosed partial optic atrophy, strabismus, nystagmus, therefore Sabina was recommended to undergo neurotrophy and pleoptics (this is the name of the procedure of optic nerve stimulation when diagnosed with partial optic atrophy) every 3 months.
In February 2023 Sabina underwent the next course of stimulation of optic nerve in the clinic. Everything was successful. There were plans to renew the procedures, because the child saw better and better with each procedure.
Sabina mastered counting to 10, started to learn numbers and studying the letters of the alphabet. She can recite by heart an excerpt from the fairy tale "About the Fisherman and the Fish" by Alexander Pushkin. Sabina was making evident progress in development when suddenly her mother noticed that the girl's squinting returned dramatically. Sabina started to draw her eyes to her nose and then sharply turned them away to the side, which had never been observed before. It happened out of the blue. To understand the reason for this problem, it is necessary to consult and see a leading ophthalmologist.
Almost the entire family budget is spent on the treatment and recovery of the child. Endless consultations with specialists, procedures, examinations, rehabilitation are very draining financially. The family is asking for help, because there is not enough money to pay for the expensive treatment.
Let's help Sabina and her family together!
