Kuhinur was born prematurely and her eyesight was severely affected because of this. The baby had undergone several surgeries with positive results and needed a second surgery to improve her vision. Thanks to you, the funds were raised. But the examination showed that Kuhinur's ophthalmologic situation has improved and there is no need for a new operation. Kuhinur will continue to be monitored by doctors at her place of residence.
At the parents' request, the collected amount was directed to a child with a similar problem - Victoria, a ward of the Foundation. In the second year of life Victoria was diagnosed with medulloblastoma - a malignant tumor in the brain. In 2020, the girl had the tumor removed and a special tank installed. But the tumor gave a complication - Vicky got strabismus, against which conservative methods of treatment are powerless. It could be corrected by a surgery using chemodenervation technology. It is not included in the OMC, it is done only for a fee, but the family could not pay such a sum.
Now the first stage of Victoria's operation has been successfully completed. Now Victoria is undergoing postoperative treatment to prepare for the second stage of the operation.
