Hospitals in various districts of Dagestan apply to the Hope Foundation for help in purchasing PPE for doctors and missing medication for covid-19 and viral pneumonia.
You know that today our Dagestani doctors work in very difficult conditions. They either do not have any anti-plague suits at all, or they are unsuitable for use, or they are few and will soon run out.
Hospitals often lack respirators, pulse oximeters and oxygen pillows. They are unable to see the suffering of patients, and doctors often buy medicines for their own money.
But the hardest part is the lack of doctors themselves.
Sick people keep coming in every hour. There are no places, so they only take the heavy ones. Doctors, who have no means to protect themselves, become infected. They get sick, die.
And those who are still in the ranks, work 24 hours a day, sleep in hospitals. They are exhausted and weakened.
It's scary to think what awaits us if these doctors get sick too.
Let's protect them and then they can protect us.
The foundation also receives daily appeals from those who need medicine and medical care.
The Hope Ambulance Program has been working in the Foundation for many years, helping thousands of our most needy countrymen.
Unfortunately, the number of those who cannot buy even the simplest medications is growing every day.
Therefore, we are announcing a big fundraising campaign, thanks to which we will close the current issues of doctors and the needy, and will raise funds for the near future.
This is not just a collection to buy PPE and medication. It is a collection to save many lives.
