The Find a Family Foundation provides a training course for family placement professionals to help them learn skills for working with orphans and foster families. The course covers the characteristics of foster children with attachment trauma, gives tools to help such children and helps prepare parents to support their children. Professionals are trained with methods for dealing with traumatic experiences and learn how to select effective help for each foster family. The course is designed for employees of social institutions, orphanages, psychologists, employees of charitable foundations, and other professionals who work with orphans and foster families. There are also planned group and individual supervisions, where difficult cases and difficult situations will be solved together with the professional supervisor. This allows us to improve the quality of care provided to foster families so that every child grows up healthy and happy!
