Umeda was born with a spinal hernia and other developmental pathologies. Spina bifida is a severe disorder of the spinal cord, in which the child may have problems with the nervous system, genitourinary system, as well as difficulty in movement. Immediately after birth, the girl underwent an operation to excise a spinal hernia. But the difficulties with the girl's health did not end there: the doctors found out that the baby had vision problems, since she was born prematurely, orthopedic problems were identified - the girl does not walk. Umeda will soon have to undergo an examination at the Spina Bifida Council at the Moscow Institute of Pediatrics. Umeda will be able to undergo a comprehensive examination and receive maximum medical care: consultations with a neurologist, neurosurgeon, proctologist, neurourologist, the opportunity to undergo MRI, X-rays and other important examinations. Now this consultation is impossible to pass through compulsory medical insurance. And Umeda's family does not have the opportunity to pay for the examinations on their own.
