For almost two years in his home country of Kazakhstan, Nazar could not get a correct diagnosis. In 2020 the boy got strabismus, his vision began to decrease. They treated him with vitamins and drops. And then headaches, vomiting, nausea appeared. And only then the boy was thoroughly examined and a massive brain tumor was discovered. Precious time was lost. Nazar was operated on urgently, but they could not remove the tumor completely. The boy began to have hydrocephalus, and several times a shunt was put in to drain the excess fluid from the brain. And after four months, the tumor increased and became even larger than its original size, Nazar lost his vision. The boy's life was in danger. His parents rushed the child to Moscow, and in March of 2023 Nazar had the tumor completely removed. In order to finally destroy the cancer cells the boy had to undergo several courses of chemotherapy. Nazar has all chances to defeat the insidious disease and partially restore his sight.
