Thank you for helping Alexander! We raised funds to pay for the delivery of a bone marrow transplant. Alexander underwent surgery and is now recovering from the procedure. A suitable donor for Alexander was eventually found in Moscow, and transportation costs for the transplant delivery were not required. Therefore, we used the money raised to help another of the Foundation's beneficiaries, Tatyana. She was diagnosed with cancer for the first time eight years ago. Then doctors found a malignant tumor in her breast. After complicated treatment, Tatiana went into remission and hoped that the disease would not return. But a few years later, she again felt alarming symptoms. This time she was diagnosed with another blood cancer, acute myeloblastic leukemia. Tatiana received a bone marrow transplant, but after the transplant she experienced infectious complications. Tatiana needed an expensive drug that she could not buy on her own. Thanks to you, she received the medicine and started the treatment course!
