Spina bifida is a congenital malformation of the spine that requires constant medical supervision, examinations and consultations with specialists. We cooperate with qualified specialists in neurology, traumatology and other relevant fields to ensure that our wards receive the care and assistance they deserve. Often children live very far from major cities that receive qualified doctors who specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of spina bifida. Not all families can afford to pay for travel, the amounts are sometimes very large. But they can not go, as delay is destructive to the health of our wards.
