Little Alisher is called "smiley face" in the hospital. The baby smiles all the time - even to doctors, even during injections and drips. "My son is incredibly cheerful! He reaches out to everyone, calmly goes to the hands, almost never cries," says Sitor's mom.
When Alisher was six months old, multiple red dots and bruises began to appear on his body. The mother sounded the alarm and showed the baby to a dermatologist. Blood tests showed that Alisher's platelet count was critically low.
The boy spent two months in hospital, he was examined for all sorts of pathologies and finally was correctly diagnosed with congenital immunodeficiency, Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome. It means that because of a rare genetic breakdown Alisher has no natural defense of the body. There is also a high risk of internal bleeding.
Now the baby needs replacement therapy, which will stimulate the production of important blood cells. We are collecting funds for Alisher's medication! May he defeat this dangerous disease!
