For 12 years, the Butterfly Children Foundation has been supporting wards with epidermolysis bullosa (EB), a severe genetic skin disease, due to which any mechanical impact (even just a hug) can cause poorly healing wounds.
The Foundation opens a collection for three wards - Ibragim and Aliya Magomedovs and Magomed Abakarov - for rehabilitation at the Elizabethan Children's Hospice. The goal of the program is to support the health of children, improve skin condition, and slow down the progression of the disease.
The Foundation not only provides transportation for children to the hospice, but also provides a complete set of necessary dressings and skin care products for the entire stay. Dressings are very expensive, but ordinary bandages are not suitable for "butterflies", they injure the skin and leave wounds.
Children undergo rehabilitation together with their mothers, for whom it is also a great gift - to receive help and support in caring for a child, to find a little time to restore their own strength.
Let's help Ibrahim, Aliya and Magomed go through a rehabilitation course that will improve the health of children and give their mothers a break!
