Six times a week, our food program operates for the benefit of lonely and weakened elderly people. This is a group of seniors who lack the strength and means to organize their own meals. Thanks to us and you, the elderly receive full and varied meals, baked goods, seasonal vegetables, and fruits every day. During the time we have been delivering food to elderly people in need, we have noticed a trend towards weight normalization among our seniors, joy in the encounters with our couriers and other foundation staff, a sparkle in their eyes, and an improvement in their overall mood. Our project is not just about food; it is about attention and participation. Since all project participants lack the support of family, we can confidently talk about comprehensive care for lonely seniors. In September, thanks to you, 18 individuals received 468 comprehensive meals. A huge thank you, supporters!
