One-year-old Yasin had a rare genetic disease that disrupts the functioning of the liver - Alazhil syndrome. The child's condition was deteriorating. Treatment and medical examinations were required. It could have been done in Moscow. And the family turned to the foundation for help.
Yasin was scheduled for hospitalization on September 12. Yasin arrived in Moscow with his mother just the day before.
It's hard for us to report this, but it doesn't always end well. During the examinations, Yasin was found to have heart problems. Surgery was required to treat the pathology. And it had to be done before starting treatment of the child's liver. This is the last thing we learned from Yasin's mom. Some time later, Yasin's mother informed us that the child had died.
