Irina Mikhaylovna - a retired educator. By the age of 85, she had outlived her children and remained alone. After a stroke that occurred several years ago, Irina Mikhaylovna can no longer walk. Her world has shrunk to the walls of her bedroom, and the bed has become the only place where she spends her days.
An elderly neighbor used to care for her, but due to her own health condition, she can no longer assist Irina Mikhaylovna. Currently, a social worker visits her twice a week to help with household tasks and grocery shopping, and our home care nurse checks on her fragile health twice a week as well. Additionally, our social courier delivers hot meals to her six times a week. We do our best to support her, but there is one problem that cannot be ignored - she needs assistance with daily hygiene routines.
With the funds we have collected, our foundation will hire a caregiver to provide Irina Mikhaylovna with one of the most fundamental human needs - cleanliness.
Let's help Irina Mikhaylovna not only with her hygiene care but also provide her with a sense of warmth and attention in this challenging life after a stroke. After all, kindness and compassion can change lives even in the most difficult moments.
