The Pet Center is the only shelter with a staff of veterinarians and equipment to rescue homeless animals who come here with a variety of conditions ranging from viruses to injuries from accidents or human hands. To effectively help these vulnerable creatures, high-level equipment such as a laryngoscope, a hand-held respiratory resuscitation machine and an endotracheal tube are needed.
A laryngoscope allows you to visually assess the condition of an animal's larynx and vocal cords, because respiratory problems can occur in homeless animals for a variety of reasons, including trauma, poisoning, and respiratory infections. An endotracheal tube is used to provide access to an animal's airway during surgical procedures, and a handheld respiratory resuscitation machine will allow for emergency care. Without this equipment, it is difficult for the center's veterinarians to restore respiratory function to their charges, and in some cases, simply impossible.
The Foundation asks you to support the important purchase of equipment for diagnostics of tail patients, because with its help doctors will be able to save hundreds of lives of street animals, provide them with high-quality and effective treatment!
