Since November 2022, animal volunteers and Fidelity have been creating good conditions for 150 pets of the Vita shelter, which was in distress. By combining their efforts, they found permanent staff, organized daily meals and cleaning, cleaned up neglected premises, and partially equipped the veterinary room. For a complete set of equipment we lack a refrigerator for medicines, where vaccines for inoculations, vitamins, antibiotics, eye and nose drops, painkillers, and some types of ointments will be stored. Now they are brought in a special bag by a veterinarian or they are purchased in minimal quantities, as there is nowhere to store them, and the need for medicines is great. Lyubov Smirnova, Vita employee: "70% of animals are elderly and with chronic diseases of the urogenital system, gastrointestinal tract, teeth are flying. Therefore, the refrigerator will simplify our work, which mainly consists of taking care of pets. Many medicines need to be stored in special equipment, at a lower temperature, to provide protection from sunlight and light."
