Thanks to your support, the Dzhabrailov family received parcels with nutrient solutions for Rukiyat. Only on these intravenous mixtures the girl can grow. Recently, mom Iman and her daughter returned from another examination. Not so long ago Rukiyat needed four IV drips with intravenous nutrition weekly. Now doctors say that two are enough. One day the girl will be able to eat like all children. In the meantime, Iman connects her daughter to the drip for 16 hours and is happy that she can forget about hospitals: the stock of formula feeding will be enough for another six months. After the birth, doctors removed almost all of Rukiyat's small intestine, and after a while they reconstructed it. Intravenous mixtures allowed the new organ to recover before it could work at full capacity. They were given free of charge at the hospital, but we helped to buy the supplies for life at home. Rukiyat is gaining weight slowly, but she has plenty of energy. "My daughter runs around the house like a wind-up, the doctors allowed her to eat all the food. But my Rukiyat would eat only sweets and drink juices all day long. In summer we will go again for examination, we are waiting for favorable prognosis.
