Safiya was born premature, and already at a young age she was diagnosed with retinopathy of prematurity, which, in the absence of timely and high-quality treatment, can lead to retinal detachment and, in turn, loss of vision. The parents of Sofia Sunatkulova approached us at the Foundation with a request to help, since such operations are not cheap. Together with responsive donors, we quickly raised the required amount. Now the girl has received treatment and is going through a recovery period. Together we can do more!
