Dima went to rehab, thank you for your help

Communication skills and social adaptation - this was taught to Dima in a special course. Working with a speech therapist, a play therapist and a neuropsychologist gave the boy a powerful boost in the development of communication skills and diligence. Dima and his mother will consolidate their knowledge during home lessons, because in a year the boy will go to school. It should be reminded that after his birth Dima developed nephrotic syndrome. For almost two years he lived in hospitals. Instead of communication, games and walks there was intensive care, drips and dialysis. Then the child was transplanted a donor kidney, and he finally went to kindergarten. Only it turned out that Dima is behind in development from his peers, it is hard to socialize. Thanks to your support, the situation was corrected. “The son studied intensively. There were classes with speech therapists, where they worked out the skill of correctly pronouncing the endings of some words. Psychologists taught Dima to listen and react adequately to a game, a request or a speech. My son also learned to write and read. I see that Dima has caught up with his peers in development and he has formed a learning skill. This is important for school enrollment. I thank everyone who helped our family,” says Marina, Dima's mother. The boy's education continues. Specialists have given the parents manuals, recommendations and homework. The child is happily catching up on the knowledge and skills missed during the years of hospitalization.
