30 people received psychological support in dealing with a stroke

The ORBI Stroke Foundation provides individual counselling and group meetings for stroke survivors and their relatives. A stroke can hit a person and his relatives suddenly. Yesterday it was possible to lead a usual way of life and do everyday things, and suddenly everything falls apart. An active person can become almost helpless and dependent on others. Such changes lead to serious psychological consequences: self-rejection in the state of illness, apathy, depression, refusal of rehabilitation. The situation of a stroke can be difficult to accept for the stroke survivor and the relatives. It is a great physical and moral burden. Individual counseling and group meetings with a psychologist help to find strength, get support and feel a foothold in their lives. This fundraiser will cover the costs of organizing 10 individual and 10 group consultations
