Very soon the first sewing workshop in the city for children with special needs will start working in Astrakhan. The ability to sew is an important means of comprehensive development of the child. In the process of engaging in artistic work, all mental processes and positive – emotional perception of the surrounding world are formed. And also, handwork contributes to the development of thinking and speech. By visiting a sewing workshop, children and teenagers with mental disabilities will be able to form and consolidate work skills and artistic taste. Develop perseverance and accuracy, increase labor and creative activity. In addition, they will have a place for communication and interesting leisure, because often "special" guys are forced to stay at home, since there are practically no projects for them aimed at their socialization and integration into society. Our organization has found a room for a sewing workshop and craftsmen who are ready to teach the guys, and assumes the costs of rent and wages. Assistance is required in repairing the premises and equipping workplaces with sewing machines and necessary sewing materials. Together we can help organize such an important project for children and adolescents with special needs!
