Sofia was adopted when she was 1 month old, the foster parents were not told about any difficulties, only over time they learned that the girl spent the first 18 days in intensive care. Initially, she developed like ordinary children, slightly lagging behind her peers. Growing up, educators and doctors began to notice deviations and she already went to school in a correctional class. Sofia is now 12 years old. She has been diagnosed with: autism, epilepsy, scoliosis, severe leg problems (against the background of taking epilepsy medications) requiring special shoes, problems with nutrition. But despite all these difficulties, the family tries to ensure that Sofia continues to study, can be socialized and independent enough. To do this, the girl needs to purchase a device for the lower limbs and trunk – orthosis. Since all the family's efforts are spent on food, medicines, special shoes, and treatment in another city, they really need our help in purchasing the device.
