You helped Sveta and five other foster children receive psychological support

Foster children who have been abandoned by their parents experience traumatic events. After that, children often need the help of a psychologist to learn how to build relationships with their peers and adults. Sveta is 8 years old, this year she went to first grade, but could not make friends among other children: fights, theft, uncontrollable aggression and unwillingness to put up with school discipline surfaced. Sveta’s parents contacted our foundation, where specialists found out that the girl was forced to survive in an orphanage, and only through Sveta’s aggression could she protect herself from the attacks of other children. In sessions with a psychologist, Sveta and other children will be able to learn safe behavior for themselves and others, understand that they can be friends with their peers, and that they no longer need to defend themselves aggressively.
