Thanks to you, Karina and other children were able to receive the help they needed

We are happy to share that Karina, like many other children, has been able to overcome her difficulties. Karina is 11 years old, and a year ago she was taken from an orphanage. At first, she was a quiet child, but when she transitioned to middle school, with many new people and increased expectations, she struggled to cope with the changes. She started having outbursts, falling behind on her homework, and staying out late into the evening. Karina was afraid she might be sent back to the orphanage. Her parents reached out for help, and our specialists helped them understand that Karina’s fear of change and the trauma from being returned to the orphanage twice were preventing her from adapting. She began working with a psychologist in a group with other children, where she is learning to express her emotions calmly and interact with others. Once again, thank you to everyone who supported this project! Thanks to you, children like Karina were able to find support, overcome their fears, and learn how to cope with difficult situations.
