Igor went through rehab!

Igor Grigoriev, the child under care of MOVEMENT UP Charity Foundation, completed the rehabilitation course in Sakura Medical Centre (Chelyabinsk, Russia). Igor has learned a lot during this course. He has prepared for the school where he is to go. We share a letter from Igor's mom Yulia with you: “Dear MOVEMENT UP Charity Foundation, members of Tooba charity platform and everyone, who takes part in the fate of our special children! Respectfully yours, the Grigoriev family - Julia and Igor. Due to your help, we have completed another very important rehabilitation course in Sakura Medical Centre. Igor studied very well and all the knowledge was useful. We practiced skills and Igor learned to stand confidently with canes. When we arrived at the center and started the course, my son only crawled on all fours and was afraid of walking. There were attempts to learn to walk, holding one hand, but we decided that now it was more important for him to learn to stand with canes on his own. Of course, it was very scary, the brain still does not understand how to rearrange both arms and legs at the same time, and we began to study, there is a lot of work, but we are on the right way, Igor is doing well, and soon the boy will be able to walk with canes. With a speech therapist and a speech pathologist we worked on understanding and discipline, learned to listen and not interrupt adults. Preparations for school began, now Igor distinguishes that when he meets someone, he has to say: "Hello”, and he learned to say: "Goodbye" and wave when someone leaves. We studied preparatory literature. Parts of the day, seasons, big-small, numbers, letters. There is a desire to work, Igor is very diligent and purposeful. Every day I see how my boy grows up and becomes more independent. Thank you very much for your help for my son, goodness to you and a good health."
