Omar was diagnosed with a heart defect from birth. Unlike his twin sister, Omar grew up as a weak child, often sick with colds, physically tired and unable to play with his peers. Omar's parents were unable to pay for the surgery on their own, as he and his husband are registered as a low-income family and are deaf-mute themselves. Omar's father provides for the family alone. The doctors performed all the necessary procedures and had a successful surgery. After rehabilitation, Omar was discharged home in satisfactory condition.
