Timur underwent an MRI diagnosis of his spinal cord

Timur is 3 years old and has a congenital disease of the brain and spinal cord associated with improper closure of the spinal column. This pathology causes severe neurological dysfunction, leads to disability and often deprives him of independent movement. To avoid complications, it is necessary to constantly monitor her condition. For the first year and a half Timur was an orphan, so he was brought up in a children's home. But the boy was lucky and for half a lifetime he has a family where he is very loved and supported. Timur is a smart, charming and cheerful boy. He is developing well cognitively, but, unfortunately, because of the disease he is not walking independently yet, he moves in a wheelchair. But doctors believe that with the right approach to rehabilitation, he has every chance to move upright, including with the help of special means (walkers, canes). Now Timur needs to undergo a scheduled MRI-diagnosis of the spinal cord at the Veltischev Institute in order to prevent complications of the disease and learn to walk.
