Zahra was born with a severe heart defect, and since birth the baby has been under cardiologists' care. The girl is often bothered by shortness of breath, and her lips turn blue. Drug therapy does not cope. Zahra grows up an open, sociable child, smiles and enjoys her loved ones. Like all children, she loves new toys, but she has almost no strength to play. The little girl is growing weak, she is almost a year old, and the girl has only recently learnt to sit up. Doctors at Moscow's Filatov Hospital, where the child is seen, insist on performing an operation to radically correct the heart defect. "Six years ago we already lost our son because of heart problems. We believe that our daughter will be helped, that she has a long, happy life ahead of her!" - says Farrukh, the girl's father. For Zahra, she is a citizen of another country. Dad is hardly ever at home, working at the market as a loader.
