All children with oncological and hematological diseases from Bashkiria are treated in the region’s only pediatric oncology department of the Republican Children’s Hospital. Today, the department registers more than 900 children with cancer diagnoses. More than 60 children are hospitalized every day. Every day in the hospital is a fight against cancer. Every day, children undergo many medical procedures - IVs, tests, punctures. All this is already painful and scary for the child, and due to unsuitable catheters, simple IVs become even more painful. Due to sanctions, it is difficult to find high-quality medical supplies today, and the hospital is forced to purchase what it has. However, as a charitable foundation, we can provide the oncology department with imported catheters, infusion systems and other medical products that are suitable specifically for children and make unpleasant procedures easier. Since there are many children in the department, supplies of consumables quickly run out, and the fund must regularly replenish them. We are opening a collection for a batch of infusion systems, intravenous cannulas and Huber needles. Please support the department and give children the opportunity to undergo treatment without discomfort.
