Expensive tests were paid for for 15 children

Every year in Bashkiria, approximately 130 children are diagnosed with cancer for the first time. In 80% of cases, the disease can be successfully treated. Most often, the cause of cancer is a genetic defect, which can be identified through specialized research. Such studies also help doctors track how effective the treatment protocol is and, if necessary, adjust it. Unfortunately, such tests are not included in the compulsory medical insurance list, and you need to pay for them additionally. Their cost can vary from 3 to 30 thousand rubles, besides, in Bashkiria such tests are not performed at all, and doctors are forced to send materials to Moscow or Yekaterinburg. On a monthly basis, the fund pays for such studies for children undergoing treatment in the oncology department of the Republican Children's Clinical Hospital. Thanks to this, many children successfully completed treatment and have already returned to the usual life of children: with school, friends, pets, without IVs and painful procedures.
