Maxim lives in the Voronezh region. In 2019, he underwent a successful liver transplant. The donor was the child's mother. After the transplant, there were complications and 5 more operations. Maxim is often ill, sometimes he has to stay in the hospital. But now there is a firm belief that the most difficult thing is in the past.
Almost immediately after birth, Maxim was diagnosed with Alajille syndrome. The disease is incurable and can affect the liver, heart and other organs and parts of the body. Transplantation became a necessary measure that ended 10 years of ineffective conservative treatment. Maxim began to actively grow and mature. He lost the itching of the skin, from which even medicines did not help.
Despite all the difficulties, Maxim is a kind and cheerful child. Mom is proud of her son and is surprised by his courage. Every year Maxim waits for spring to start cycling and walking with friends as soon as possible. He likes to burn wood, sculpts from plasticine, plays computer games and is interested in space.
The boy is 14 years old, but he still needs to make up for the gap in height and weight. Therefore, the doctors prescribed a special formula for nutrition "Resource Optimum".
