Sabina was born prematurely and, like many babies born with low birth weight, faced the diagnosis of "retinopathy of prematurity", which means the risk of complete loss of vision.
The diagnosis was made when the baby was four months old. Doctors in Kyrgyzstan did not know what to do with such a disease and sent the parents from clinic to clinic not only in their native Kyrgyzstan, but also in neighboring Kazakhstan. Thus, time was lost.
Only when Sabina was 2 years old, the family came to St. Petersburg to LOGBUZ, where doctors operate on thousands of such children every year. They managed to save vision only in the right eye. In the left eye it is impossible to restore visual functions.
The little girl needs an operation to preserve the eye socket, which due to the absence of the eyeball will shrink over time, and this will make it impossible to prosthetize with an "artificial eye".
The family has raised money by their own efforts, but it will be enough only for the operation, so they turned to our fund for help in buying tickets.
Friends, let's help to buy important tickets for the beautiful future of this lovely girl!
