Lera is 3 years and 4 months old. She was born prematurely, weighing 970 grams. Immediately after birth she was connected to a ventilator and spent a long time in the prematurity ward. All this had irreversible consequences for her health.
Until the age of 3 Lera was an orphan, so she was brought up in a children's home. But she was lucky and already 4 months she has a family.
Foster parents understand the importance of intensive rehabilitation of a child with special abilities, so they are actively engaged in Lera's development.
The girl regularly attends adaptive swimming classes, undergoes massage courses with osteopathy elements, physical therapy and developmental classes. She has learned to confidently hold her head, crawl, eat independently, sit, stand with support, learned colors, animals, and has significantly increased her vocabulary.
Now Lera needs a verticalizer. Standing in it will provide an alternative upright position that will relieve muscle tension, help with contractures, strengthen bones, and allow Lera to communicate with others at eye level.
