Three months after birth, Arina's parents noticed that the child did not follow objects and immediately went to the doctor. Arina was genetically analyzed for Leber's Amaurosis, an inherited disease with congenital damage to the light-sensitive cells of the retina. The result of the analysis was positive. At the moment Arina needs a course of rehabilitation procedures. After all, if the optic nerve is constantly stimulated, the child will start to see. Constant rehabilitation, doctors' consultations have exhausted the family financially, Arina's mother fully devotes herself to caring for a child with a disability, and her father's salary is not enough to cover all the expenses.
