Islamiya and other physical therapists of the Foundation continue to make home visits to children in different cities of Russia, especially in places where there is little help for children with a complex diagnosis of spinal cord clefting. Physical therapists have a wide range of tasks - to adjust a wheelchair, to adjust a verticalizer, to advise the child's parents on various issues: nutrition, sleep, education, physical activity. In addition to face-to-face sessions, the Foundation's specialists write recommendations for schools and kindergartens attended by children; make individual lesson plans; write reports on the results of lessons with children and much more. Such work should also be paid for. After all, the quality of visits and, as a result, the recovery process of a child diagnosed with spina bifida depends on the planning of work with children.
