Amira gets energy thanks to special medical diet

Amira from Tatarstan is 4 years old. When Amira was one month old, she suffered acute bacterial meningoencephalitis. The disease gave complications - the girl developed hydrocephalus and lagged behind in psychomotor and speech development. Because of her weakness, Amira sleeps a lot or just lies down, watching what is happening in the room. The girl is often accompanied by her cat Alice, who likes to nap next to the girl. Amira's mother says that with the onset of the disease her daughter began to cry a lot and be capricious. But lately the girl has been smiling more often - and this smile gives Amira's mom strength. In order for Amira to have strength, she needs special medical nutrition. Together with the coordinator and lawyer of the Foundation, Amira's mother has started the process of obtaining special nutrition for her daughter from the state, but it takes time to get a positive decision. In March and April our foundation will buy such food for Amira and one other children.
