As early as the first year of Mark's life, doctors informed his parents of their son's diagnosis - genetic encephalopathy of infancy. He could run and jump, but he has been lying down for five years. Mark doesn't speak and can't even eat by himself, in this he is helped by a gastrostoma - a special tube. But even if the child cannot be cured, it is possible to give him more life.
His mother Yana talks lovingly about her son, recalling the trip to Moscow: "It was such a wonderful trip, just me and Markusha, just the two of us. We only had time to visit the hospital, but it was so great to get out of the house. We had birds singing under our windows the whole time, like a greenhouse. A little adventure for two."
Mom was able to find something that opened up a whole world for Mark - birdsong. When a nightingale sings outside the window, Mark freezes and immerses himself in the vibrant sounds of nature. Every walk Mama and Mark cover a long distance to his favorite tree, where the boy listens to his favorite sounds for a long time.
In order for Mark to be close to his loved ones and to recognize the world he is supported by medical equipment: an expectorator, an aspirator and a gastrostomy. All of this equipment requires regular purchases of consumables. Now the family is running low on supplies and the cost is beyond the family's means.
