Matvey received a special wheelchair

Immediately after birth, Matvey was diagnosed with perinatal lesions of the central nervous system. At the age of 2, a geneticist reported that the boy had congenital muscular dystrophy of Ulrich. Unfortunately, it will not be possible to completely cure Matvey and put him back on his feet. Only supportive rehabilitation. Now he moves with the help of a chair. He attends a regular secondary school. But there Matvey gets tired quickly, as the wheelchair is heavy. Many children help him both in class and at recess. In everyday life, unfortunately, he is less independent. The family lives in a one-room apartment, the parents carry their son in their arms. This year, the boy was prescribed an electric wheelchair in the IDP, but it is very difficult to move around the school on it, it is too bulky, and the aisles in the classrooms are narrow. Active strollers are light and manoeuvrable, but very expensive. Parents dream that thanks to the new stroller, their son will be more comfortable at school and be "on the same wavelength" with his classmates. Let's all make Matvey's dream come true together!
