Tanya comes from Khakassia. She has recently received a status that gives her a chance to get into a foster family. At first, the girl hoped that her mother would appear and take her home. But she never came. Since birth, the girl suffers from a spinal anomaly and is wheelchair-bound. Her disease affects many processes in the body, one of the main problems - Tanya has formed a hump and it is difficult for her to sit and breathe. She needed qualified medical assistance. The Foundation organized her treatment in Moscow in 2018. Over the course of a couple of years, the girl underwent several surgeries at the NIKI Pediatrics named after Veltischev. Veltischev Pediatrics Research Institute, was examined, and in 2020 was given an active wheelchair. Tanya is growing and changing. The girl has already grown out of the stroller. Thanks to friends of the Foundation, we have recently been able to buy her a new stroller, and thanks to the tuberos we have acquired accessories for her, a special corset and an individual chair for a comfortable position in the stroller.
