Adam is 7 years old. He doesn’t like to stay alone. He feels much better when his mother is around. When it is warm outside, Adam can take a brief walk. When the weather is cold, he often gets sick. However, going for a walk is always like solving an equation.
Patina, Adam’s mother, needs to go downstairs with Adam, his heavy wheelchair, and his medical devices. Then she gets out of the house and goes down the stairs. It is quite difficult because there is no wheelchair ramp. When they come back home, everything has to be done in reverse order.

In March, Adam stayed in ‘The Lighthouse’ as an in-patient for two weeks. Here he walked in his wheelchair on the wide balcony, looking around with interest. He listened to fairy tales and guitar songs. And he wasn’t worried.
In summer Adam's condition worsened. He breathed heavily and could not cough. Respiratory insufficiency grew, his oxygen saturation level dropped dramatically.
Now Adam needs a portable oxygen concentrator. This piece of medical equipment helps to maintain oxygen saturation above 90%. Besides, it is easily carried. Whether Adam goes for a walk with his mother or attends a medical appointment, it will be safe for him.
