Maxim is 9 years old and has been fighting for life since birth. Maxim was born 2 weeks premature with numerous holes in his intestines. He had necrotizing enterocolitis. And then came a series of surgeries. There were six of them in total and at each of them the little fragile boy had to be intubated. The consequence was laryngeal stenosis, which has not been conquered to this day. Maksim's larynx is narrowed, which prevents air from entering the airways and lungs, as well as the expectoration of sputum. Maxim never stops smiling and tries to live life to the fullest. He loves to listen to music and sings along to it. But his life is very much overshadowed by the tracheostomy, installed due to laryngeal stenosis. Now the boy needs a portable aspirator to move between home and hospital without fear. Maksimka himself can not cough up phlegm, and if it is not pumped out he will choke.
