An active wheelchair was made for Dima, which will allow him to become more independent!

Dima will soon turn 14 years old. Unfortunately, he still cannot walk, despite all the efforts the family has made since his birth. He has undergone several operations and is constantly undergoing rehabilitation courses. Now in adolescence, the state of health is deteriorating, spasticity intensifies with the active growth of bones and muscles. And a ll this despite the fact that Dima has been working out constantly, without breaks! And in terms of intelligence and mental health, Dima is perfectly preserved. He is a cheerful, energetic boy with a subtle sense of humor! Dima has been studying at the Inclusive Theater “Beyond the Horizon” for several years and in 2023 was part of the Theater on the Third International Inclusive Games in Lipetsk. Dima takes an active part in competitions in the “Artistic Word” category. He studies in the 5th grade of the Central Children's Education Center for Children's Education at the AKPL. And of course, he perfectly understands his unenviable position as a wheelchair user and is very upset about this. If Dima could move around the apartment or on the street on his own in a compact and maneuverable stroller, that would also be a huge help! Even leaving him alone at home, at least for a short time, would be possible! Up to this point, Dima’s relatives msnsged to cover all expenses for rehabilitation and rehabilitation equipment from their own savings. But Dima’s family can’t handle buying such stroller on their own.
